At the Center for World Music we are working to fulfill our mission of bringing world music and dance to our community. As part of this effort, we’re happy to offer our Living Room Learning program to your family, learning pod/small learning community, or your entire school.
Our teaching artists have been busy producing a wide range of interactive world music and dance video lessons for kids. These contain vocabulary, songs, storytelling, movement, clapping rhythms, background on the music, language and culture, and more. With an emphasis on student interaction, our teaching artists invite your children to sing, move, and clap along.
We provide a detailed written study guide to accompany each of these lessons. The study guides will help parents, educational leaders, or classroom teachers prepare children to participate in each lesson. Prompts for follow-up discussion and activities are also included.
Please contact us to purchase any of these lessons for your family, learning pod, or school.
